Full Film vs. Highlight Film

Full Wedding Film: couple gets mic’d up for the entire day, dedicated videographer only, turnaround time is longer, video is longer, film will tell more of a story, film will have vows/interviews narrating the story

Highlight Film: Short recorded clips from the big moments of your day, vogue style film, focused more on the visual aspects than storytelling and about 1-3 minutes.

The way I film

Unlike most videographers who just capture the posey hero shots, my filming style is to document the true emotions and stories of the day that you don’t see. Often times, I’ll be asking questions to move the story along, and other times, i’ll be hidden to try and get natural reactions. My goal is to tell your story with your video, allowing for a happy medium of fun and cinematic but super romantic.

If you’re looking for a video that is short, fun, and upbeat, i’m not the one for you. If you want something posey and model-esque, I am not the one for you. If you want an organic, beautiful, wow factor wedding film that feels like the perspective from a guests’ eyes, I AM the one for you.

Videography Packages & Prices

  • A cinematic and styled trailer of the couple at 3 different locations to preview their upcoming wedding, any announcements, or to tell their story.

    Requirements: We need 3 dedicated hours from the couple to travel between 3 different locations with 3 different outfits and film. Couple must attend 2 meetings with Kim to properly structure and plan the shoot and its location and time of day. Locations must be in a non-populated area and a story board must be made and approved before accepting the client.

  • A gorgeous documentary-styled recap of your wedding day. This vogue-like reel will include the most important parts of your wedding as we become a fly on the wall and allow a different media format to be produced from your special day.

    Requirements: We need 6 hours of your wedding day, beginning 2 hours before your ceremony and 3 hours after your ceremony into the dancing portion of your reception. Clients should also have a full itinerary of events happening during the coverage time.

  • A documentary style film with a deep and emotional storyline to drive the video to cinematic lengths. We begin with an upbeat and intriguing intro, move onto a slower and emotional meaty middle part, and end off on a high note!

    We need 8-10 dedicated hours of your wedding day. Clients must understand that we need as much priority as the photographer as we will be conducting interviews, planning posed moving shots, and making clients perform certain poses. Clients should also understand that we need a full itinerary of activities and happenings for a full and rich film. We also require clients to have personal vows, but do not need to be read during ceremony, just at any point during the day.
